Gostiny Dvor is a modern Trade Exhibition Centre which is situated in the ancient building in the centre of Moscow. The architectural complex starts its history in the XIV century when traders from Moscow chose an area in Kitay-Gorod for their shops and warehouses. In the XVIII century Catherine II «the Great» entrusted the italian architect Giacomo Quarenghi to replace the medieval buildings with a new shopping mall, an elegant building in a Classical style.

In the 90th years of XX century the building was modified inside and outside. The building was renovated and equipped with engineering systems in accordance with international standards. Gostiny Dvor was being converted into a modern and luxurious Trade Exibition Centre more than 82 000 sq.m. The courtyard is paved with granite. It is surrounded by unnumerable columns and arcades under the modern glass dome.

Nowdays, Atrium of Gostiny Dvor is a modern fairground which satisfies all requirements. The area of the Atrium is more than 13 000 sq.m., the height of the hall is 24 meters, and the total capacity of participants is up to 5000 people. The Atrium’s amphitheater can accommodate up to 500 people. It allows to host more than 50 events annually: festivals, city parties, concerts, business forums, fashion shows, fairs, Viennese balls, exhibitions and salons.

Gostiny Dvor is well located in the centre of Moscow next to the Red Square. It provides high attendance of events.
