The Contemporary Art section offers a platform to the most esteemed galleries of the Russian art market. The exposition features artworks by both established masters, many of whom are regarded as pioneers of Russian contemporary art, and emerging artists with a lot of prowess.
Over 50 galleries will represent all the facets of contemporary art: painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, installation, and more. Apart from the core exhibition, a whole range of special projects will strive to fulfill the educational mission of familiarising the viewer with the latest trends and trajectories of both Russian and international modern-day avant-garde.
